After the great success of the Oktoberfest last year, the German Business Association, successfully held the Oktoberfest 2014 on the 10th and 11th of October 2014, at the Karura Forest, Gigiri.

Governor Dr. Evans Kidero officially opened the event that saw on two nights, close to 2100 guests. This is about 600 guests more than last year and a clear indication that the Oktoberfest is well accepted and appreciated by corporates and the general public. As music acts, we saw "The Dirndl Jäger" and the "Calabash Band" entertain an enchated crowd throughout the night. Refreshments were served by "Intercontinental Hotel" and Kenya Breweries Ltd and on the menu included traditional German meals like Pretzels, Schnitzel and Sausages.
