GBA Business Speed Dating and Stammtisch January 2020
The German Business Association in Kenya (GBA) has conducted its 3rd Business Speed Dating for its members at the InterContinental Hotel on Wednesday 29th January, 2020. The event attracted a variety of participants consisting of legal representatives, TVET experts, sales officials, founders, finance experts, senior managers and various other business experts. In this very interactive format, participants are given four minutes “one on one” to introduce their organizations and their products or services before a bell is rung for them to rotate.
The speed dating events are well received by GBA members as a creative, and fun, way to network without the usual social anxieties or time pressures that accompany networking events. Also, members get to speak to people they would probably not automatically approach without knowing them. This event was followed up by the first Stammtisch of the year, at the Makuti Bar at the InterContinental Hotel where the networking continued.
GBA will definitely continue with more such events in the future - every member is invited to try tour this format.
